The project develops a support system for mouth care in intubated patients, designed to maintain oral cavity humidity and manage secretions and excess fluids more safely.
The solution provides controlled delivery of small volumes of fluid, in the form of spray or nebulization, using one dedicated line for the humidifying solution and a second one for oral hygiene. In parallel, a controlled suction system collects secretions and any excess fluid, reducing the risk of accumulation or flow toward the oropharynx.
The device integrates sensors to monitor parameters such as pressure, flow rate, humidity, tank levels and safety conditions, automatically interrupting delivery in case of anomalies.
The goal is to transform the management of oral dryness from a manual and intermittent intervention into a preventive, continuous and traceable strategy.
